The gray treefrog eats small ivertebrates such as moths, beetles, spiders and mites. When the gray treefrog croaks it travels some distance. Their tiny suction-cup grippers helps them climb. Gray treefrogs can change colors like chameleons to perfectly match their background to a lite grayish green to a pearly-gray. They are found near woodlands near water and they hibernate under the soil or leaves.
